    With every new gismo there are some bugs. All three playstations, the first iphone, the first ipad. The xbox. All of these have problems when the first come out. Remember windows vista. It was horrible untill the updates and service packs start rolling in. Amazon has already released an update to repair some of the bugs and its only been a month. Shame on the frequent gadget users for complaining. You should know how the digital world works. With time comes perfection. It never promised to be better than the ipad 2. At 200 it was suppose to be an affordable alternative. It performs better that a 200 dollar tablet. Remember ipad is more than double the price so it bound to have more available memory and a better screen resolution. I don't fancy the apple store I think if I spend 500 - 600 bucks I should get a break in app prices. Root ur kindle fire and you are free to download what ever. But in time I think it won't be necessary
