Toxoplasmosis

My cat does not have toxoplasmosis. WTF? I thought the worldwide infection rate was around 50%. The actual rate is, from Wikipedia, "It is estimated that between 30% and 65% of all people worldwide are infected with toxoplasmosis."

The behavioral aspects are fascinating - check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toxoplasmosis from more great info. The schizophrenia part is most delightful.

The Old Globe

Going to see a play there tomorrow - The Life of Riley. At Balboa Park.. should be cool.. My friend that's staying over for the weekend is going to Julian to prospect for gold. I'd rather sit on my ass.

Driving

I'm supposed to learn to drive a new car today... not as easy as it sounds (i won't go into why or what kind of car it is, but use your imagination). My wife also needs to learn how to drive the other car... And it's Friday the 13th. Probably not a good idea all around.

Roadrunner

Saw one out back. quite cool... The cable service in the US... quite crap. They came out to fix the problems of random modem reboots.. didn't work.

I want to rewire the whole house now and upgrade to DOCSIS 3. What's the deal with no FTTH. Grr.

Logitech Revue

Google sent me one of these for free.. Gonna mess around with it tonight.. I hate watching TV so not sure what this thing is all about.

Still Jetlagging

It's supposed to take a day to get over each hour of jetlag. Today is my ninth day am I'm still not over it.. grr..
